Job Summary
JOB TITLE: Research Assistant
LOCATION:St. Paul Campus
PAY RATE:$18.00 per Hour (position is available for 100-150 total hours for the academic year)
JOB SUMMARY:
The MFCOH AEA-IPE Scholars program is pleased to offer graduate research assistantships for the upcoming academic year (2026-2027). Successful candidates may support faculty in the scholarly activity of the school related to library/literature searches field research project management curriculum development teaching and technology. Specific duties dependent on hiring faculty.
Applicants should indicate any research skills and experience with any of the following in their application materials: online database searches SPSS data collection data analysis content analysis presenting research results etc.

This position is only open to currently enrolled degree-seeking students in the Morrison Family College of Health- Area of Emphasis in Aging (AEA) program at the University of St. Thomas.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Computer aptitude and skill
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and Office365
- Experience with Canvas Learning Management System
- Experience with statistical software
- Self-motivation and organizational skills
- Interest in Gerontology and IPE
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for student employment St. Thomas students must be degree seeking at the undergraduate graduate and doctoral levels.
