Job Description:
The Research Associate is willing to help with lab management and participate in translational research perform various laboratory tasks in support of the principal investigator and other members of the research team. Experience in maintaining animal colony and follow protocols is required. Requires self-motivation and the capability of being trained to assist PI in multiple research projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Biology Cancer Biology or related discipline required.
Prior laboratory research experience required.
Prior animal lab and handling of animals including materials and equipment used in animal care and laboratory activities required.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel required
Excellent oral and written communication skills to present data required.
Ability to multi-task.
Self-motivated general curiosity in science and quick learner
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
Ability to communicate in English.
Proven ability to work independently.
Maintain confidentiality.
Maintain a good attendance record.
Dress in accordance with established guidelines.
