The Advertising Sales ExecutiveSimon Media Experiences willthink and act strategically be self-motivated and above all driverevenueresults.Asthe local market leader this position ispart of a dynamic focused and professional salesandbusiness development team that is responsible for driving media& eventsales inSimoncenters.This roleseamlessly integratesintotheteam and takesan active role in contributing to the overall success of each property and the company as a whole.As the media sales and business development expertthe position will have itspulse on the local and regional media landscape know key decision makers in the marketand isthe authority on our dynamicDOOH and OOH media networkand experiential marketingopportunities.The Advertising Sales Executivetranslatesclient goals into actionable media recommendations thatachieveclient results anddriverevenue forSimon.
Principal Responsibilities
The Advertising Sales ExecutiveSimon Media Experiences will beresponsible to sell SimonCentersas a Marketing Medium to brands advertising agencies and local businesses.Theywill serve as the primarymediasales person for a group of properties in a specific market.Theywill target key companies and categories withintheir assignedmarket to sell Simon media sponsorships events and partnership marketing programs to achievetheirindividual andpropertyspecific revenue goals.
The Advertising Sales Executivesresponsibilities include butarenot limited to:
Identify createsell and closerevenue opportunitiesto brands and businessesthrough strategic positioning ofourmedia assets;center specificand nationalsponsorships;centerspecificprogrammingand amenitiesto achieve therevenuegoals ofeachproperty
Achieve or exceed personal sales goals andassignedproperty monthly revenuegoals.
Create compelling client solutions to advertising objectives articulate the benefits of Simoncenters and close large single or multi property advertising sponsorship or promotional programs on a regular basis
Target pitch and develop relationships with all companies within key categories (auto health care entertainment retail educationtravel consumer servicesetc.) located withinassignedmarket
Ensure flawless execution foryourprograms
Monthly forecasting forassignedproperties
Execute leases and collect client receivables
Communicate daily with local property corporate and regional leadership teams
Be a brandadvocate for yourproperties clients and businessopportunitiesandSimon Property Group
Minimum Qualifications
At least 5yearsproven track record ofselling mediaOOHsponsorships promotions and events
In depth knowledge and personal contacts in the advertising agency and marketing community.OOH industry experience and contactsarea plus.
Compelling sales presentation skills including formal presentations cold calling elevator pitches and networking. Excellent writing skills are essential.
Ability tohandle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent computer skills Word PowerPoint Excel Salesforce
Superiormedianegotiation skills
Sales forecasting and budgeting; above average math skills
Bachelors Degree required
Some overnight travel required
