Your Impact:

• Work closely with the Repair Manager and Repair Project Manager to develop repair project plans understand project budget and coordinate site needs.
• Ensure job site compliance with Habitat for Humanity SKKC Safety Program by promoting teaching and monitoring safe practices among volunteers staff and homeowners. This includes implementing and documenting lead-safe practices when required and maintaining
• documentation of weekly safety meetings and inspections.
• Complete hands-on repair work and when applicable facilitate and train volunteers homeowners crew leads AmeriCorps members and subcontractors to complete repairs safely and correctly. Maintain excellent communication with both homeowners and other Habitat staff during project execution.
• Coordinate tool and material needs for projects follow established purchasing procedures and track and submit expenses in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with permitted construction documents and applicable codes.
• Ensure the security organization and maintenance of job sites tools and materials.
• Actively maintain up-to-date knowledge of residential construction techniques methods and codes with innovation and efficiency in mind.
• As a representative of Habitat in the community engage respectfully with neighbors and help create awareness of the program among potential partner families donors and advocates.
• Participate in trainings events and other construction or interdepartmental work as needed.

What You Bring:

• 5 years hands-on experience with a broad range of residential construction tasks such as rough and finish carpentry siding doors windows drywall repair basic plumbing accessibility modifications minor exterior repairs and general punch-list/handyman work; at least 2 years of experience managing others in construction or similar fields.
• BA/BS degree in related field (preferred but not required).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks appropriately.

The Repair Site Manager is a hands-on carpentry and repair role for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and thrives on varied residential repair work. The ideal candidate is a practical problem-solver with strong knowledge of wood-frame construction older home hazards and current codes who can assess complex site conditions and adapt confidently when plans shift. This role also requires comfort leading volunteers or crew members when needed and a commitment to representing Habitat with professionalism and kindness in every interaction.
