Under the direction of the Rep Payee the Assistant helps ensure clients basic needs are met by accurately budgeting funds tracking expenses paying bills and maintaining detailed financial records. This role requires strong organizational skills confidentiality and a commitment to serving vulnerable populations with compassion and Duties and Responsibilities: Residential Services Client Finances Assist Rep Payees with paying bills for residential clients including rent utilities phone EBT and Petty Cash Reconciliations - Every month assist with verifying the reconciliation of all accounts we manage for our clients and organize and maintain all receipts for all residential Reports Support with producing quarterly reports for all residential Financial Assistance - Continuously review and seek applicable financial assistance for each client and work with Rep Payee to apply for any services each client would qualify Allowance Requests -Assist with gathering documentation needed to complete residential allowance requests for the previous month for clients that need extra financial Financial Plans Support in writing Individual Financial Plans for all residential clients as well as a monthly budget for the Support and organize within the company electronic documentation systems collect and maintain all necessary and appropriate Security Work with Rep Payee to make appointments with Social Security for/with clients to make any changes to their SSI/SSA -Visit clients homes and audit funds and client site money ledger. Report discrepancies in the homes and in general accounting immediately to the Financial Director Residential Director and Area a positive proactive and priority-focused communication style which encourages collaboration and allows space for all voices to be heard with the goal of improving the quality of life of our team and our with DSHS reviews housing assistance recertification paperwork and documentation for SSA as professional working relationships with DDA guardians alternate rep-payees landlords service providers and other members of the Rep Payee with implementing and monitoring compliance with DDA/SSA regulations and policies WACs and Sails WA policies and procedures. Provide feedback to Rep Payee as program clients with outside Rep Payees to complete required documentation and other duties as in the role:Generally accepted accounting principlesFederal and State laws and regulationsStatement of workPersonal computer Excel Payroll and QuickBooks systemWork Environment:Fast-paced environment with significant telephone and personal successfully perform the essential duties of this position an individual must be able to sit at a desk for four or more hours per Qualifications:Must be 21 years of age with High School Diploma or GED Equivalent have a fingerprint and criminal clearance prior to processing skills general accounting and bookkeeping training record keeping practices and training or related job experience of greater than three years in a similar Requirements:Must pass a Washington State background checkWA Driver License and WA Auto InsuranceFirst Aid/CPR Certified (within 120 days of employment training can be provided)Blood Borne Pathogen (within 120 days of employment training can be provided)Need to obtain CPI Blue CardOngoing Eligibility Qualifications: Complete and pass the background check screening upon hire and every two years thereafter or as active NAR CPR/First Aid Nurse Delegation and other required a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education Washington and Citizen Access Residential Resources are part of the Redwood Family Care Network family of companies.
