Rental Support Specialist & Cafe Supervisor

Grace Chapel is seeking a Part-Time Event &HospitalitySpecialist responsible for independently running Sunday café operations and serving as the onsite point person for event hospitality and setup.

This role ensures that café spaces and rental events are well-prepared welcoming and smoothly executed for congregants guests and rental clients.

Position Summary

This is a hands-on operational role responsible for both café leadership and event hospitality execution.

Key responsibilities include:

• Independently leading Sunday café operations

• Executing event setup breakdown and onsite hospitality support

• Ensuring spaces are prepared organized and ready for guests

Responsibilities:

Sunday Café Operations

• Independently run all Sunday café operations (7:00am2:00pm)

• Oversee setup service and closing procedures each week

• Recruit train guide and support café volunteers

• Maintain a welcoming and efficient guest experience

• Manage café inventory and supply ordering

• Follow cash handling procedures

Event Operations & Hospitality

• Independently set upand breakdownevent spaces (tables chairs layouts room configurations)

• Serve as the onsite point of contact for rental clients during events

• Ensure spaces are fully prepared and ready prior to guest arrival reset spaces post event

• Support smooth event flow and guest experience throughout rentals

• Communicate any issues or needs to theappropriate teams

General Upkeep & Readiness

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of café and event areas

• Perform light cleaning and resets as needed during events and Sundays

• Identifyand communicate facility or maintenance concerns

• Strong in hospitality customer service and guest experience

• Confident leading volunteers and working with people

• Calm under pressure and able to solve problems in real time

• Organized dependable and detail-oriented

• Comfortable in a hands-on active environment

Schedule & Requirements

• Required: Sundays 7:00am2:00pm

• Additionalavailability for evenings and Saturdays (events)

• Ability tolift upto 50lbsand remain physically active during shifts
