Remodeling Carpenter

We are offering the opportunity to grow your professional portfolio with us as a remodeling carpenter. This is a full-time non-exempt position with our team in Sunnyvale! Your duties may include:

• Basic Framing and carpentry (Siding sheathing base boards and cabinet installation)
• Basic electrical wiring outlets switches and light fixtures.
• Basic plumbing (sink and faucet installation etc.).
• Installation of doors windows.
• Drywall patching and Painting.
• Other duties as assigned.

You will also need to be able to:

• Ability to move/function within construction sites including
• Ability to stand/walk/sit for extended periods of time
• Use of hands to handle control or feel objects tools or controls
• Bend or twist body
• Kneel stoop crouch or crawl
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance

Temperature:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to a construction environment. The employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions

Noise level:The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However on job sites equipment noise can be a much higher level for sustained periods.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school graduation or GED equivalent
• 1 year of experience working in construction

Other Desired Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to demonstrate skill in simple math
• Ability to communicate in spoken English
• An energetic forward-thinking and creative individual with high standards

• Must have a valid Drivers License and insurance
