Remote Vacation Planning Coordinator

Position Overview

We are looking for organized personable individuals who enjoy helping families plan vacations and create memorable experiences together.

As a Family Vacation Planning Coordinator youll help clients navigate the many decisions involved in planning a tripfrom choosing the right destination and accommodations to coordinating transportation activities and other vacation details.

What Youll Do

• Research family-friendly destinations and vacation options
• Compare resorts hotels cruises vacation packages and other accommodations
• Help clients explore theme park vacations cruises beach destinations domestic getaways and international travel
• Research activities and experiences appropriate for different ages and interests
• Assist with transportation and reservation details
• Prepare organized vacation options for clients to review
• Communicate with travelers throughout the planning and reservation process

Who Were Looking For

You dont need to be a travel expert to get started. Were looking for someone who is:

• Friendly patient and comfortable working with families
• A strong written and verbal communicator
• Organized and attentive to details
• Able to work independently and manage their time
• Comfortable using computers email and online platforms
• Resourceful when plans change or a client has a question
• Excited to learn about destinations and travel products

Experience in customer service hospitality education childcare event planning administrative work sales or other people-focused roles may transfer especially well to this opportunity.

Training & Development

Training is provided to help you learn the travel planning process reservation systems destinations suppliers and client communication.

Youll also have access to ongoing education and mentorship as you build your knowledge and confidence. There are opportunities to develop expertise in specific areas of travel based on your interests such as cruises resorts theme parks family getaways or international destinations.
