Job Summary

This is a remote position.

As a Remote Spanish Translator you will play a key role in facilitating clear and effective communication with our Spanish-speaking clients partners and employees. You will handle a range of translation projects from everyday correspondence and marketing content to specialized materials like legal medical or technical documents. The ideal candidate is a native or fluent Spanish speaker with exceptional writing skills in both Spanish and English a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Translation & Content Adaptation

Translate written materials including but not limited to reports contracts marketing content legal documents web pages training materials and client communications from English to Spanish and Spanish to English.
Transcribe and translate audio recordings into written documents.
Creatively adapt marketing and entertainment content to engage and resonate with local Spanish-speaking audiences a process known as transcreation.
Proofread edit and revise translated materials to ensure accuracy consistency and grammatical correctness.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in Translation Interpreting Linguistics or a related field is highly preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a translator preferably in a professional or business setting.

Language & Technical Skills

Full fluency (native or near-native) in both Spanish and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Exceptional grammar proofreading and editing skills in both languages.
Proficiency with Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools and translation software (e.g. SDL Trados Studio MemoQ) is a significant advantage.
Familiarity with terminology management systems and translation memory databases.
Proficiency with standard office software (e.g. Google Workspace Microsoft Office). Experience with design software (e.g. Adobe InDesign) is a plus for roles involving document formatting.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $17.00 - $40.00 per hour depending on experience and the specific role.
