Job Summary

We are seeking an organized proactive and self-motivated Remote Project Manager to oversee projects from conception to this role you will be responsible for planning executing and tracking cross-functional projects across distributed teams. Because this is a 100% remote position you must excel at asynchronous communication virtual stakeholder management and maintaining team alignment and morale across different time zones.

Tasks

Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Create detailed workflows timelines and resource plans.

Team Coordination: Lead and motivate cross-functional distributed teams (e.g. development marketing product design) to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.

Remote Communication: Facilitate virtual stand-ups kickoff meetings and retro sessions. Maintain absolute transparency on project status using asynchronous updates and documentation.

Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project bottlenecks risks or scope creep. Develop mitigation strategies and escalate issues when necessary.

Tool & Process Management: Optimize and maintain the teams digital workspace (e.g. Jira Asana Notion Slack).

Performance Tracking: Monitor project performance using KPIs and metrics. Deliver regular status reports to leadership and external clients.

Requirements

Experience: 3 years of experience in project management ideally within a remote-first or highly distributed company.

  • Remote Competency: Proven ability to work independently manage your own schedule and stay productive without direct physical supervision.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with project management tools e.g. Jira Asana and virtual collaboration platforms e.g. Slack Miro Zoom Notion.
  • Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum / Kanban / Waterfall frameworks.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex project updates clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Time Zone Flexibility: Ability to overlap at least X hours daily with the core team operating in EST / CET / PST.
