Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented Remote Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. This is a full-time remote position that will require you to work from your home office. As a Remote Medical Receptionist you will be responsible for handling all administrative tasks related to our medical services including answering phone calls scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries in a friendly and professional manner

- Scheduling appointments and managing the calendar for our medical team

- Greeting patients and visitors and directing them to the appropriate department

- Maintaining patient records and ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date

- Processing insurance claims and verifying patient insurance coverage

- Collecting payments and managing billing inquiries

- Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is preferred but not required
