remote Position: Remote Medical Assistant Company Overview: Absolute Elder Care is a leading provider of in-home care services for seniors in Ocala FL. As part of our commitment to excellence we are seeking a Remote Medical Assistant to join our team. Position Overview: As a Remote Medical Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting our clients health and well-being. You will work remotely providing virtual assistance to our clients and their families as well as our team of caregivers and healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include conducting virtual consultations assisting with medication management and coordinating care with other healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct virtual consultations with clients and their families to assess their health needs and develop care plans - Assist with medication management including refills and reminders - Coordinate care with other healthcare providers such as doctors and nurses - Monitor and track clients vital signs and health status - Provide education and support to clients and their families on managing chronic conditions and maintaining a healthy lifestyle - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Communicate regularly with our team of caregivers to ensure the best possible care for our clients - Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality at all times Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant - Experience with virtual consultations and telemedicine preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficient in using technology and virtual platforms - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations - Compassionate and empathetic towards seniors and their families - Must be located in Ocala FL or surrounding areas Contract Details: This is a part-time remote position with flexible hours. You will be expected to work approximately 20 hours per week with the potential for additional hours as needed.
