What Youll Do
Manage and grow an existing book of business while identifying new revenue opportunities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers carriers and transportation partners.
Source transportation solutions that meet customer requirements while maximizing profitability.
Handle customer pricing negotiations and service management.
Coordinate shipments and proactively resolve transportation issues.
Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer service.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions opportunities and shipment activity within CRM and TMS platforms.
Stay informed on market trends carrier capacity and pricing fluctuations.
What Were Looking For
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as aFreight Broker Logistics Account Executive or Logistics Sales Representative.
Transferable book of businesswith active shipper relationships and revenue-generating accounts.
Strong experience selling and managingLTL freight solutions.
Strong negotiation relationship-building and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using transportation management systems (TMS) CRM platforms and load boards.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with additional freight modes including FTL Partial Expedited Drayage Intermodal or Specialized Freight.
Established carrier network and industry relationships.
Strong understanding of freight market dynamics and pricing strategies.
