Job Summary

The Remote Chat & Email Specialist will be the primary point of contact for clients leads and tenants reaching out via live chat and email. This role involves answering questions qualifying leads scheduling appointments and routing inquiries to the appropriate team members all while maintaining a friendly professional tone that reflects our brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming live chat messages on the company website
  • Monitor and respond to general inquiry emails and info@ inbox
  • Answer common questions about listings availability pricing and the buying/renting/selling process
  • Qualify leads by gathering key information (budget timeline property preferences contact details)
  • Schedule showings calls and appointments between clients and agents
  • Route more complex or specialized inquiries to the appropriate agent broker or department
  • Enter and update lead and client information in the CRM system
  • Follow up on unanswered inquiries or abandoned chats to re-engage potential clients
  • Maintain a library of saved responses/templates for frequently asked questions
  • Track chat and email response times to meet company service-level standards
  • Escalate urgent issues (maintenance requests complaints time-sensitive matters) appropriately
  • Maintain a professional warm and helpful tone consistent with company branding
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for website or listing portal issues

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of customer service chat support or email support experience (real estate experience a plus)
  • Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and spelling
  • Ability to multitask across multiple chat conversations and emails simultaneously
  • Comfortable using CRM software live chat platforms and email management tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet dedicated remote workspace
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
