Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Dismantle Inspection and Failure Analysis (DIFA) on returned or failed equipment and components.
- Identify failure modes determine root causes and document findings in detailed technical reports.
- Collaborate with design manufacturing quality and field service teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Analyze reliability and performance data to identify trends recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing equipment uptime reliability and product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections analyses and corrective action recommendations.
- Assist in developing and refining failure analysis procedures standards and best practices.
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company standards engineering practices and applicable industry requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Materials Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in reliability engineering failure analysis root cause investigation or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical electrical hydraulic or electromechanical systems.
- Knowledge of failure analysis methodologies reliability principles and problem-solving tools.
- Strong analytical technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities.
