Lifecycle Engineering is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe Reliable Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support including the following engineering disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability. We are looking for a Reliability Engineer II to join our team located in Tucson AZ.

What You Will Do:

• Support the implementation of reliability strategy across multiple product phases including development production and sustainment.
• Support an engineering team consisting of varying levels of experience and engineering sub-disciplines.
• Conduct analysis efforts supporting system design with respect to product Reliability Maintainability and Failure Reporting and Corrective Action.
• Work in reliability disciplines including FMECA Predictions and Derating.
• Review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with existing standards.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience in Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA) Reliability Predictions Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) Derating Failure reporting analysis and/or corrective actions system (FRACAS).
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience in supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Customer focus and collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of MS Office tools and experience in the preparation and presentation of briefing material.
• Ability to review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with existing standards with the ability to identify concerns suggest solutions and follow through to closure.

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.
• Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) an agency of the Department of Defense handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.   The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
