Release Train Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Coach / Release Train Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte NC. This is a 12 month contract opportunity. This role requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

This role functions as both an Agile Coach and Release Train Engineer providing Agile leadership while facilitating the execution and continuous improvement of one or more Agile Release Trains. The ideal candidate will coach leaders and teams on Lean-Agile principles and lead key ceremonies to optimize value delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Coach leaders Product Owners Scrum Masters and delivery teams on Lean-Agile principles practices and mindset
• Serve as the primary facilitator and servant leader for one or more Agile Release Trains
• Lead ART ceremonies including PI Planning Scrum of Scrums System Demos ART Syncs and Inspect & Adapt events
• Establish and monitor ART-level metrics to drive transparency predictability and continuous improvement
• Identify manage and escalate cross-team risks impediments and dependencies
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align priorities and optimize value delivery
• Drive execution and flow of epics features and enablers through the delivery lifecycle
• Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement across the ART
• Coach teams and leaders through organizational change and Agile transformation initiatives
• Support portfolio and program-level planning activities to ensure strategic alignment and delivery readiness
• Plan coordinate and facilitate Program Increment Planning
• Track progress against PI objectives and communicate material changes risks and delivery concerns to appropriate stakeholders

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of SAFe Lean-Agile principles and Agile coaching techniques
• Experience serving as an Agile Coach Release Train Engineer Scrum Master or related Agile leadership role
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate large-scale planning and execution across multiple teams
• Proven track record of coaching leaders and teams while simultaneously driving delivery outcomes
• Strong facilitation conflict resolution stakeholder management and servant leadership skills
• Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Process and detailed oriented
• Willingness to be accountable for meeting all deliverable dates for task assignments
• Ability to foster strong collaboration among team members and help team solve problems
• Self-motivation self-direction organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality or timelines

Pay range: $74.51 - $82.51 per hour
