Job Summary
Location: Arlington VA (hybrid)
Blue Rose Consulting Group Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a motivated Release Management Business Analyst to support a federal client in coordinating software releases supporting delivery operations and ensuring effective communication across technical and functional teams in a secure federal environment.
In this role you will help manage release-related activities support reporting requirements and maintain project tracking tools while serving as a key liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams. You will play an important role in ensuring release processes are organized transparent and aligned with program objectives.
As a Release Management Business Analyst you will:
- Coordinate functional and technical release activities across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Configure and maintain Jira dashboards workflows and reporting mechanisms to support release visibility and delivery tracking
- Support backlog refinement release planning and sprint activities in collaboration with development and product teams
- Coordinate release schedules deployment timelines and readiness activities across technical and functional teams
- Monitor release milestones risks dependencies and action items to support successful delivery outcomes
- Track release dependencies risks and change impacts to support successful production deployments
- Facilitate communication between technical teams business stakeholders and program leadership
- Own weekly and monthly reporting requirements and communicate status updates to program leadership and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain release documentation meeting artifacts and process guidance materials
- Support release planning tracking and execution activities to ensure timely delivery of software enhancements
- Support process improvement initiatives related to release management reporting and delivery operations
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Hybrid work environment; remote support with onsite expectations in Arlington VA
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Minimum of 35 years experience using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel PowerPoint and Word
- Minimum of 02 years experience with Atlassian Jira
- Minimum of 02 years experience in client-facing communication and stakeholder engagement
- Experience coordinating project activities software releases or delivery milestones across multiple stakeholders
- Experience developing executive-level reports status updates or performance metrics for stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational analytical and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate activities across cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working in a client-facing role
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting software release management or delivery operations activities
- Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
- Experience creating dashboards workflows or reporting solutions within Jira
- Experience supporting federal government programs or secure environments
- Experience working directly with clients stakeholders or program leadership teams
- Support mission-critical federal technology delivery and modernization initiatives
