Minimum Qualifications/Experience:5-7 years of experience in a banking and/or lending environment with a demonstrated understanding of banking and lending processes.
Formal Education & Certification
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
Must meet the requirements to be commissioned as a Notary Public.
Work Status
Full-Time
Supervisory Responsibility
None required initially though the role could evolve into oversight of junior colleagues as the business expands.
Travel
Up to 10% - Negligible amount of travel expected. Primarily office based although visits to bank clients and/or other day/overnight travel could be possible.
Working Conditions
Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds sitting most of the time but may involve walking moving or standing for brief periods and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files ledgers folders etc.

The Relationship Associate II provides administrative services and customer assistance in the process of approval and servicing of loans from application to closing. This includes establishing loan files collecting and ordering documentation coordinating closing assisting with past due collection and clearing of exceptions and continued customer support in regards to loan accounts. The Relationship Associate II provides administrative and office management support for assigned Senior Commercial Lending Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide effective administrative support to the Regional President and the Client Relationship Management team.
Act as the Relationship Managers (RM) support for routine client or internal issues.
Requests orders and compiles supporting documentation for the processing of loan requests. This includes information from the client such as updated financials tax returns and other documentations as needed as well as ordering records such as appraisals title searches flood determinations and credit reports.
Acts as a liaison between parties involved in the lending process such as title companies appraisers attorneys and lending personnel.
Coordinates the closing process; prepares final loan documents and processes loan files to ensure documents are recorded properly.
Competencies Required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook SharePoint) and ability to navigate financial software applications (Mozart Bancline) and related websites.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multitask in a fast pace environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong customer service skills with effective problem solving abilities.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external parties
Good understanding of financial institution products and services.
