The Reimbursement Supervisor (DME or IV as appropriate) is responsible for the daily supervision and operations of their designated payer team. The position works closely with operations leadership for coordination of patient care and account collections. The position will ensure the highest level of quality and customer service is maintained. Specific duties include Team policy and process improvement staffing assessment collecting and monitoring staff productivity customer service and employee complaints assisting with hiring disciplinary action training and evaluations of staff. Maintaining effective communication with payer representatives management and staff. Acts as liaison between operations and reimbursement. Some local travel may be required.

Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent required. College preferred.

Knowledge: Has advanced knowledge of the following:

  • Billing and Collections practices in Healthcare
  • DME or IV as appropriate experience preferred
  • DME or IV as appropriate product knowledge purpose/function
  • Medical Terminology and coding

Work Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years experience in health care setting - DME or IV as appropriate preferred
  • Minimum two years leading/supervising staff in a healthcare collections or billing setting
  • Minimum two years with either government compliance or payer audits

Salary Range: Minimum 23.27/hour - Maximum 40.91/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
