Job Summary
Assists with rehabilitative care to improve functional goals of persons served as directed by the Physical Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist. This may include preparation of patient for therapy assisting with ambulation exercises and other basic treatments. Creates a comfortable and safe environment. Actions are team oriented to successfully provide quality care and a high level of satisfaction for persons served through evidence - based practice.
Hours Available:
(2) PRN As Needed: Location: Lutheran Hospital. 8 Hour shifts

- Assist licensed therapists with treatment preparation and rehabilitation activities including exercise gait support hot/cold applications hydrotherapy and technique reinforcement under supervision.
- Maintain equipment supplies and resources by cleaning inventorying ordering stocking and supporting efficient daily operations.
- Prioritize patient and workplace safety by preventing errors accidents and infections and promptly reporting compliance or safety concerns.
- Support evidence-based care process improvement innovation and initiatives that enhance care delivery quality and patient experience.
- Demonstrate professionalism flexibility teamwork holistic patient care and willingness to learn new skills to meet patient and business needs.
Education:
Graduation from high school or GED Required.
Experience:
Prior related health care experience preferred.
License(s)/Certification(s):
Current BLS (CPR).
