How youll contribute

ARehabilitation Technicianwho excels in this role:

• Follow patient care tasks as determined by the OTR/RPT to help patients achieve therapy goals.

• Safely transport patients to and from therapy and other activities.

• Communicate clearly (verbally and in writing) with members of the rehabilitation team.

• Observe and recognize patient reactions to treatment; follow instructions accurately.

• Lift and carry equipment supplies and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis; use proper body mechanics.

What were looking for

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:

• 6-12 months of relevant experience in a rehabilitation setting strongly recomended

• CPR/BLS certification

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to Transport lift transfer move and reposition patients in the patient room Therapy Gym and other common areas of the hospital.
