Directs and oversees all phases of scheduling precertification preauthorizationregistrationand collections required by patients seen within Rehabilitationand PainServices.Assiststhe departments clinicalcoordinatorandmanagerintheoveralldirectionandcontroloftheRehaband Painschedulingand precertificationteamsintheareas ofpreregistrationinsuranceverificationpatientrecordsentry of patient charges monthly patient chart rollovers reporting functions daily operations and personnel. This position must prioritize and perform various administrative duties in conjunction withsupervisoryresponsibilities.Responsible forensuringstandardsforqualityandproductivity are met. Responsible forsettingandmaintainingpar levels of office supplies.Acts as officeorganizer trains and offers solutions to challenges as they occur in a growing environment.

• AssociatesDegreeinPhysicalTherapyAssistant orCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Technical Training in the use of physical therapy oroccupational therapy equipment used in the outpatient setting

OR

• Associates Degree in Business or HealthRelated Field

OR

• 10 years of experience in the field in a leadership position
• 2 - 5 years of leading initiatives/projects
• Ability to direct lead inspire and train a team of employees
• Must be proficient in medical terminology
• Demonstrate knowledge of billing insurance verification and collections procedures includingknowledge and understanding of CMSs G/CPTCodeUtilizatio

LICENSEORCERTIFICATIONSBYTHESTATEOFGEORGIA

• Licensed by theappropriate GeorgiaState Board
• Current certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation for all age groups

PREFERRED

• Leadership experience 5 years in leadership role or leadinginitiatives/projects
