Rehab Aide (Physical Therapy Aide)

Salary Range: $23.25 - $23.25 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Provides assistance to Physical Therapists Occupational Therapists Physical Therapy Assistants and Occupational Therapy Assistants on inpatient transfers and gait; cleaning outpatient department including linen changes and supply organization; provides appropriate assistance without outpatient treatments; and orientation of new aides. When given specific and additional training provides assistance to Occupational Therapist with inpatient treatments under supervision for activities of daily living and therapeutic activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) or more years of physical therapy aide experience
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Word processing software.
