Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehab Aide to join our healthcare team in Farr West Utah United States. As a Rehab Aide you will play a crucial role in supporting our physical therapists and occupational therapists in providing high-quality care to our patients.   • Assist physical therapists and occupational therapists with patient care and treatment plans
  • Apply therapeutic modalities such as heat packs and help patients with exercise equipment
  • Monitor patient motion and guide them through prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques
  • Maintain a clean safe and organized working environment adhering to all safety procedures and regulations
  • Ensure proper operation of physical therapy equipment performing basic maintenance and reporting any issues
  • Manage inventory of physical therapy supplies including restocking and ordering as needed
  • Observe and report patient progress during therapy sessions to the supervising therapist
  • Assist with patient transfers and repositioning ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey
  • Collaborate with the therapy team to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes

Qualifications :

  • College degree or equivalent education in a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical environment preferably in physical or occupational therapy
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift lower push pull and retrieve objects weighing at least 30 pounds
  • Proficiency in transferring and repositioning patients safely
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and rehabilitation concepts
  • Familiarity with rehabilitation equipment and techniques
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Empathetic and patient-focused approach to care
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic records and inventory management
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
