Job Summary
Position Summary The Registration Services Analyst Administrative Analyst/Specialist Non-Exempt supports SDSUs Registration Services operations by helping ensure accurate timely and compliant registration and student record services. Working with students faculty staff and campus partners this role handles complex registration and record issues maintains the integrity of student information coordinates undergraduate diploma processes and supports federal Title IV reporting compliance requirements. Department Summary Enrollment Services supports the student experience at San Diego State University from initial interest and admission through graduation. The division brings together key areas including Admissions the Office of the Registrar recruitment strategic partnerships enrollment communications financial aid and scholarships and student financial services to provide comprehensive enrollment support and advance the universitys enrollment goals. As part of Enrollment Services the Office of the Registrar provides essential academic and enrollment services to students faculty and the university community. The office oversees academic records registration class scheduling degree requirements transfer credit evaluation and related academic policies. Through a dedicated team of professionals the Office of the Registrar is committed to delivering accurate timely and student-focused services that support academic progress and student success. Education and Experience Entry to this classification requires general knowledge and skills in the applicable administrative and/or program field with a foundational knowledge of public administration principles practices and methods. This foundation would normally be obtained through a bachelors degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study analysis and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies procedures practices or programs. These qualifications would normally be obtained through a high school program technical/vocational program or their equivalents combined with several years of related office work experience. |
