Job Summary
Registered Respiratory Therapists are responsible for providing coordinating and directing individualized comprehensive respiratory care to all patients based upon assessment planning implementation and evaluation.
SHIFT: 12-hour shift / 36 hours per week. Shift time is 1730-0600.
CERTS: Must have a current WA License BLS ACLS PALS and NRP.
ABOUT: Needing a candidate with strong OB experience. . Must be a team player and any RTO needs to be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Current Washington State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Will maintain BLS ACLS NRP PALS certification
- Will practice within the scope of practice of a RCP.
- Prefer one year of current acute care experience; but may be a new graduate
- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from floor to waist
- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from wheelchair to bed level
- Ability to lift five (5) pounds over head
- Ability to pull fifty (50) pounds from stretcher to bed
- Ability to push one hundred fifty (150) pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
- Auditory ability to perform procedures and to take accurate blood pressures
- Vision adequate to observe patients and to perform charting procedures
- Ability to meet specific criteria for the Cardiopulmonary department
