Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Travel Assignment

Location: Indianapolis Indiana
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights 4x12s
Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 48 Hours per Week

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a high-paying travel opportunity with a leading acute care hospital in Indianapolis Indiana.This role is ideal for Respiratory Therapists with strong ICU and critical care experience who thrive in fast-paced clinical environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care treatments and perform patient assessments in ICU settings
  • Manage ventilators and other respiratory support equipment
  • Administer oxygen therapy and respiratory treatments
  • Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Respond to emergency respiratory and critical care situations
  • Float between affiliated facilities as required
  • Adhere to hospital safety standards and patient care protocols
Requirements
  • NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
  • Active Indiana Respiratory Therapist license required
  • ACLS and BCLS certifications required
  • Minimum 18 months of recent ICU experience required
  • 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience preferred
  • Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • First-time travelers welcome
  • Must be comfortable working every other weekend
