Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Contract

Location: Hackensack NJ

Duration: 34 Weeks Contract

Pay Rate: $50 - $55/Hour

Shift:

• Night Shift (3x12 Hours)

• 06:45 PM 07:15 AM

• 3637.5 Hours Per Week

• Every Other Weekend Required

• Holiday Rotation Required

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive cardiopulmonary care in a high-acuity acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong ICU experience ventilator management expertise and the ability to provide respiratory care across multiple inpatient units including ICU intermediate care and step-down units.

• Current New Jersey Respiratory Care License

• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential

• Current AHA BLS Certification

• Current AHA ACLS Certification

• Current AHA PALS Certification

• Minimum 1 year of recent RRT experience

• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience

• Experience with ventilator management

• Ability to float between ICU intermediate care and step-down units

• Strong critical thinking communication and teamwork skills

• Additional ICU or Critical Care experience

• Advanced ventilator management experience

• Experience working across multiple inpatient units

• High-acuity acute care experience

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as ordered

• Manage mechanical ventilators and respiratory support equipment

• Assist with intubation and airway management procedures

• Assess respiratory status and modify treatment plans as needed

• Perform respiratory diagnostic testing and evaluate patient responses

• Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams

• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and conditions

• Document all respiratory care services accurately and timely

• Support patient care across multiple inpatient units as assigned

• New Jersey Respiratory Care License

• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)

• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

• Acute Care Hospital Environment

• ICU Intermediate Care and Step-Down Coverage

• High-Acuity Respiratory Care Population

• Advanced Ventilator Management
