Schedule
  • Night Shift
  • 3x12 Hours
  • 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
  • 36 Hours per Week
  • Weekend Coverage Required as Needed
  • Holiday Coverage Required as Needed
  • No On-Call Requirement
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Current New Jersey Respiratory Care License required
  • NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
Required Certifications
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • New Jersey Respiratory Care License
  • NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care services in an acute care hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a wide range of cardiopulmonary conditions supporting critically ill patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess treat and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Administer respiratory therapies and oxygen treatments as prescribed
  • Assist with intubations and advanced airway management
  • Set up monitor and manage mechanical ventilators
  • Perform respiratory diagnostic testing and patient assessments
  • Evaluate patient response to therapy and modify treatment plans as appropriate
  • Provide disease-specific education to patients and caregivers
  • Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Document treatments assessments and patient responses accurately
  • Adhere to departmental policies safety standards and regulatory requirements
