Description:

Schedule/ Hours:

  • 72 hrs per pay period
  • Saturday Sunday Monday 7:00 AM 7:30 PM with some variations keeping in compliance with department policies/procedures and union CBA

  • Call and holidays to be scheduled in accordance with department policies/procedures and union CBA

What the Radiologic Technologist will do:

  • Greet patients explain procedures and answer questions and instruct patient during the procedures.
  • Prepare proper sterile tray and contrast media for procedures.
  • Perform radiologic examinations on patients with proper positioning and technique.
  • Assist physicians during specialized procedures.
  • Evaluate images within PACS and close study appropriately for prompt reading.
  • Print charts
  • Access and document patient information in the patient medical record.
  • Input entry and selection of charges.

What the Radiologic Technologist will need:

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
