Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) Critical Care ICU

Specialty: Critical Care / Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care to critically ill adult patients in a high-acuity Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment skills experience managing complex patient conditions and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Schedule
  • Night Shift
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holiday coverage as needed
Required Licensure & Certifications
  • Active New York State RN License/Registration
  • BLS Certification
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 1.5 years of recent ICU/Critical Care experience within the last 2 years
  • Experience in hospitals of similar size larger facilities or trauma centers required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal orientation
Preferred Qualifications
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred
  • Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience preferred

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adult patients

  • Administer medications treatments and therapies as ordered
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Ensure adherence to patient safety and quality care standards
