Med Surg Registered Nurse
Location: Zanesville Ohio
Pay Rate: $53 to $56/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 7:00 AM 7:30 PM; every other weekend required
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 3 years required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week day-shift opportunity in Zanesville Ohio. This role supports the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit and may include floating to other Med Surg units such as Stroke Oncology Cardiac Observation and ED/Med Surg boarders.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for Med Surg Telemetry and Stepdown-level patients
Float to Stroke Oncology Cardiac Observation and related Med Surg units as needed
Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to patient condition changes
Administer medications treatments and nursing interventions as ordered
Document patient care accurately using Epic
Requirements
active ohio registered nurse license required
aha bls/bcls certification required
minimum 3 years of current or recent telemetry and/or stepdown experience required
current epic proficiency required; refresher training is not available
must be able to read telemetry and pass competency testing on day one
