Pay Rate: $50/hr $53/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days 7:30 AM 4:00 PM; no weekends
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 1 year

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse for a 13-week day shift contract opportunity in Newport OR. This role supports patients with acute and chronic wounds including wounds related to diabetes surgery injury poor circulation and other conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound ostomy and continence-focused nursing care

• Support physician-driven wound care treatment plans

• Assess monitor and document wound healing progress

• Assist with adjunctive therapies related to vein medicine and hyperbaric medicine

• Educate patients on wound care prevention and follow-up needs

• Collaborate with providers and care teams to support safe outcomes

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility care standards

Requirements

• Active Oregon Registered Nurse license required upon submission

• BLS/BCLS required

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required

• Minimum 6 months of wound care experience required

• Acute care experience preferred

• BSN preferred

• Wound care certification preferred

• Holiday coverage required

• General interview availability must be provided at submission
