About the Role
We are seeking a Certified Wound Care Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Fort Defiance Arizona. This role focuses on providing comprehensive wound and ostomy care including assessment care planning treatment implementation patient education and coordination of supplies and equipment to support optimal wound healing outcomes.
Responsibilities
Assess plan and implement care for patients with wound and ostomy needs
Provide care for pressure ulcers draining wounds fistulas ostomies and acute or chronic wounds
Educate patients and families on wound care ostomy care supplies and equipment use
Evaluate select and recommend appropriate wound care supplies and treatment plans
Document patient care accurately using RPMS and follow facility care standards
Requirements
Active Arizona RN License Required
Wound Care Certification Required
Minimum 3 years of wound care nursing experience required
American Heart Association BLS/BCLS Certification Required
ACLS Certification Preferred
