Job Summary

Position : Registered Nurse
Location: West Hollywood CA 90069

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patient health through the nursing process. The RN will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members while providing physical and psychological support to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care
  • Perform assessments nursing interventions and treatments according to established protocols and provider orders.
  • Provide emotional psychological and spiritual support to patients and their families.
  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding conditions medications treatment plans and self-care practices.
  • Review laboratory results perform medication reconciliation report abnormal findings and intervene appropriately.
  • Document patient care accurately in medical records.
  • Maintain continuity of care through effective communication and documentation.
Clinical Compliance & Safety
  • Adhere to established standards of care nursing practices and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Follow infection-control guidelines and medication administration protocols.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA HIPAA and other applicable regulations.
Team Collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to address patient needs and resolve care-related issues.
  • Participate in staff meetings case conferences trainings and other assigned meetings.
  • Contribute to organizational projects and initiatives as needed.
Administrative Duties
  • Maintain nursing supply inventory and coordinate procurement when necessary.
  • Assist in achieving departmental and organizational goals.
  • Demonstrate professionalism flexibility organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of direct patient care experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules.
Preferred
  • Experience with HIV/AIDS Hepatitis C chronic disease management and infectious disease care.
  • Knowledge of state and federal reporting requirements related to infectious diseases.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations in a multicultural healthcare environment.
