Salary: $48.80per hour

Position Overview:
The RN I is training to provides specialized nursing care to the post-partum patient including the newborn infant. Specific task elements are generally outlined below and may be found in competency check off lists. The Mother Baby RN is responsible for working as a team utilizing the multidisciplinary approach to provide nursing care adapted for each individual patient needs based on the nursing process which includes assessment planning implementation and evaluation. The RN is also responsible for supervising coordinating and delegating to personnel who participate in the provision of care to ensure that patient needs and expected outcomes are met. The Registered Nurse I is an inexperienced new graduate nurse.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current CA Registered Nurse License
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification or within six (6) months of hire for those nurses being trained in Mother Baby
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Experience in a Mother/Baby Unit
- RNC-MNN certification
- CLC CLE or IBCLC certification
