Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry Stepdown

Location: Cincinnati OH
Duration: 8 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: Night Shift (3x12 Hours)
Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Pay Rate:

• Local: $1700 - $1800 Weekly

• Traveler: $2000 - $2100 Weekly

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Stepdown RN to provide high-acuity cardiac care in a fast-paced stepdown environment. The RN will manage telemetry patients cardiac drips post-procedural recoveries and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

• Provide nursing care to cardiac stepdown and telemetry patients.

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data.

• Administer and titrate cardiac medications and vasoactive drips.

• Care for patients recovering from cardiac vascular and electrophysiology procedures.

• Assist with conscious sedation procedures and cardioversions.

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.

• Document assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR.

• Float to related stepdown units as needed.

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License.

• Current BLS and ACLS Certifications.

• ECG/EKG Rhythm Interpretation Course completion.

• Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown PCU or Telemetry experience.

• Experience with cardiac drips and high-acuity cardiac patients required.
