Location: Tahlequah Oklahoma
Pay Rate: $64/hr to $68/hr
Contract: Contract
Schedule: 12hrs shift and 3 shifts per week

About the Role
We are seeking a Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse for a contract opportunity within the Cherokee Nation region. This role supports maternal and newborn care and requires strong clinical judgment patient-centered communication and the ability to provide safe nursing care throughout labor delivery recovery and postpartum support.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for laboring mothers and newborns
Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to clinical changes
Assist with labor delivery recovery and postpartum care needs
Educate patients and families on labor process newborn care and discharge instructions
Document patient care accurately and collaborate with physicians midwives and the care team
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse License Required
Labor And Delivery nursing experience preferred
BLS/BCLS Certification Required
NRP And Fetal Monitoring Experience Preferred
Strong assessment communication documentation and patient safety skills required
