Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) Winter Haven FL

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Operating Room team. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional perioperative care in a collaborative surgical environment while supporting professional growth and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients using the nursing process and established clinical standards

  • Deliver safe evidence-based and patient-centered care throughout the perioperative experience

  • Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans

  • Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia providers and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care

  • Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Promote patient safety and adherence to perioperative standards and best practices

  • Perform preceptor and charge nurse responsibilities as assigned

  • Demonstrate professional accountability and commitment to continuous learning and development

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification if required by the department

  • Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

  • Minimum of two years of Registered Nurse experience required

  • At least one year of Operating Room RN experience strongly preferred

  • CNOR certification preferred

  • Strong clinical communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
