Job Details: Evening RN

Weekly Hours: Under-30

Salary Range: $38.00-$53.20

*It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and on several factors including relevant work experience education certification & licensure and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality resident-centered nursing care through the consistent application of the nursing processassessment diagnosis planning implementation and evaluation. The RN collaborates closely with residents and families as well as interdisciplinary team members including providers to develop implement and evaluate individualized care plans that promote optimal health and well-being. This role provides comprehensive nursing care across all phases of prevention health maintenance treatment and rehabilitation while ensuring adherence to all applicable standards policies and regulations.

The RN may serve as charge nurse and is responsible for the appropriate delegation of tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel ensuring that assignments align with staff competencies resident needs and scope of practice. The RN provides oversight guidance and support to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care and timely resolution of concerns.

The RN practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act applicable state and federal regulations and the standards set forth by the American Nurses Association (ANA) Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements. This role exemplifies professionalism clinical competence and compassionate leadership in promoting resident safety dignity and quality of life within the long-term care setting.

Qualifications:

Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the Minnesota State Board of Nursing.

Bachelors degree in nursing preferred.

Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
