Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown Telemetry RNST#01

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Stepdown / Telemetry
Location: Cincinnati OH
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 3x12-Hour Shifts
Schedule Requirement: Weekend & Holiday Rotation Required

• Provide nursing care in a high-acuity Stepdown / Telemetry unit
• Care for patients with cardiac stroke and complex medical conditions
• Monitor continuous cardiac telemetry and patient status changes
• Administer medications IV therapies and blood products safely
• Perform patient assessments neurological checks and documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery

• Minimum 1 year of recent Stepdown or Telemetry RN experience
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required
• BLS Certification American Heart Association
• ACLS Certification American Heart Association

• BSN preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification preferred
• Previous experience in cardiac or stroke stepdown units preferred
• Charge RN or Preceptor experience preferred
