How Youll Contribute

Provides direct patient care in the surgical setting using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Reports to: Director or Manager of Department

Qualifications & Requirements

• Associates degree in nursing required Bachelors degree in nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice
• BCLS (required)
• ACLS and PALS preferred

Essential Functions

• Populations Served: Neonate Infant Early Childhood Late Childhood Adolescent Young Adult Middle Adult Older Adult.
• Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic Clinical Insurance Financial Complete Medical Record.
• Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.
• Physical Requirements: Frequent standing walking lifting/moving patients and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards including blood and bodily fluids hazardous medications and latex.
