Job Summary
Heres What You Need
Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Diploma Nursing program required
BSN preferred
1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required
GI Lab experience preferred
1 year of procedural/OR experience preferred
Candidates with 5 years of RN experience will be considered even without GI or procedural experience
RN Registered Nurse required upon hire
BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of hire
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Assesses the patient
Plans the care of the patient
Intervenes as appropriate
Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift inter-hospital and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.

Work location:Texas Health Frisco 12400 N Dallas Parkway TX 75033
Work Hours: PRN; 12 shifts per week (68 hours) MondayFriday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Position includes on-call requirements and candidates must reside within the required response radius for call coverage.
