Registered Nurse ( RN ) Preop & Phase II Postop (UCU)

32hrs per pp variable 6a-2:30p every other weekend and rotating holidays in accordance with CBA

Position Purpose:

What you will do:

Registered Nurse RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.
• For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.

CONTINUING EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Position requires RN to be familiar with hospital and department policies and procedures accepted methods of requisitioning ancillary department service work and familiarity with themedial staff. This knowledge is normally acquired through 1-3 months of orientation time.
• Must maintain current nursing knowledge and BLS certification and required CEUs forrelicensure.
• Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy values mission and vision ofMGHP.
