Registered Nurse (RN) PeriAnesthesia PreAdmit Testing (PAT) 1.0 FTE

We are currently hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) PeriAnesthesia Preadmit Testing (PAT) 1.0 FTE Day Shift: 8-hour shifts (staggered start/end times) with shift times starting from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. This role will not have direct patient care duties.

This position exists to administer family-centered nursing care to patients and families prepare patients for upcoming surgical and anesthesia procedures and/or provide skilled assistance in navigation of the health care system as appropriate to the developmental cultural emotional and medical surgical or rehabilitative needs of the patient and their role does not provide any direct patient care but works closely with the patient/familyprovidersand care teams in a care coordination role.

In this role youll provide high-quality family-centered nursing care that supports optimal patient outcomes. Youll conduct thorough assessments create individualized and evidence-based care plans implement interventions and communicate effectively with patients families and the care team. Youll practice autonomously using sound judgment and incorporating evidence-based improvements into daily work while supervising and delegating appropriately. Ongoing professional development is encouraged with opportunities to participate in quality improvement pursue learning and contribute to a collaborative patient-focused environment.

Compensation & Benefits Information

The hourly wage for this opportunity is $43.28-$73.97/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including number of hours worked within the field education and certification/licensure. $1.75/weekend $2.35/evening $4.00/night differential is available for this position. Hourly pay just one part of the compensation package for employees. Qualifications

Required

• Documentation of completion of professional nursing program (RN program)

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license through the MN Board of Nursing

• Must be interested in working with people with short term or long-term disabilities that begin in childhood
