Bonus: $15000 two-year commitment

8:00-4:30 Full Time Monday-Friday Call every 12 weeks for the week and night call every other week from 11p-7am

Job Summary & Essential Functions

• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Recovery/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) using the nursing process of assessment planning implementation and evaluation.

• Meets the physical psychosocial and cultural needs of patients and families.

• Communicates effectively with all members of the healthcare team regarding changes in patient condition or response to treatment. .

• Patient Populations Served: Neonate Infant Early Childhood Late Childhood Adolescent Young Adult Middle Adult Older Adult.

• Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic Clinical Insurance Financial

• Complete Medical Record.

• Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present; may involve contact with patients blood body fluids or specimens.

• Physical Requirements: Frequent standing walking lifting/moving patients and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards including blood and bodily fluids hazardous medications and latex

• What we are looking for:

Education:

• Associates degree in nursing required

• Bachelors Degree preferred.

License:/Certifications:

• Current RN license in state of Kentucky or a current multistate license

• Active Kentucky license (single state or compact) required. If relocating licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.

• BLS required; ACLS and PALS within 1 year of hire
