Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) assignment. The RN will provide high-quality patient care during Phase I and Phase II recovery while monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills PACU experience and the ability to manage post-operative patients across multiple surgical specialties.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Current PALS Certification
Minimum 1 year of PACU experience
Phase I PACU experience required
Phase II Recovery experience required
Proficient in IV insertion and phlebotomy
Strong post-anesthesia patient assessment skills
First-time travelers accepted
Provide Phase I and Phase II recovery nursing care.
Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.
Assess and document patient status throughout recovery.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as required.
Monitor airway respiratory cardiovascular and neurological status.
Identify and respond to post-operative complications.
Educate patients and families regarding recovery and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain accurate documentation using the electronic medical record.
Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled.
