Location: Akron Ohio
Shift: Day Shift 5x8-Hour Shifts
Schedule: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a dynamic ambulatory surgery center team in Akron Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong circulating experience in the operating room with scrub experience preferred. This role offers a consistent weekday day-shift schedule with no weekends or on-call responsibilities.

The OR RN will work collaboratively with surgeons anesthesia providers surgical technologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe efficient and high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process.

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting
• Serve as an OR Circulator during surgical procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety standards are followed
• Prepare operating rooms equipment and surgical instruments
• Monitor patient condition before during and after procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures
• Adhere to facility policies infection control standards and regulatory guidelines

• Active Ohio RN License or Active Compact State RN License required
• Minimum 18 months of recent Operating Room nursing experience required
• OR Circulator experience required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Current AHA BLS Certification required
• Current AHA ACLS Certification required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
