Registered Nurse (RN) NICU

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care for premature and critically ill newborns in a high-acuity Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have strong neonatal assessment skills and experience caring for medically complex infants.
Schedule
- Night Shift
- 12-Hour Shifts
- 6:45 PM 7:15 AM
Unit Information
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- 63 Beds
- Level II Trauma Center
- Care of premature and critically ill infants
- Collaborative multidisciplinary neonatal care team
Required Certifications
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- BLS
Preferred Certification
- RNC-NIC Certification
Experience Requirements
- NICU experience required
- Ability to provide care for premature and high-risk neonates

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients
- Monitor and assess infant condition and response to treatment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary care teams
- Educate and support parents and family members
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Participate in emergency neonatal interventions when necessary
